A breath of fresh air.

The result of this year’s game music collab! It’s a annual project in school where we get assigned a piece of music made by one of the game music students, not knowing who they are or what their starting-point idea/premise is for the song. Then we basically get left to our own devices to create an illustration inspired by the song! No discussion/song sharing with classmates is allowed just so outside influence is minimized.
2 weeks later assignment it all comes together in a big presentation, where we get to listen to each other’s assigned songs and see all the artwork created, accompanying each artist’s musical analysis relating to why they created what they did. Lastly the composers get the stage to present what their premise and inspiration source was for the song! Definitely the highlight project of year 2 here at Hjo.

My keywords after my first listen were "whimsical, fairy, vast, meadow, royal, morning mist". I personally had a blast participating and drawing this illustration! Hopefully that shines through.
